Deighton Bell and Co 1973 090370000X / 9780903700009 Limited Edition Hardback Very Good ++ No Jacket Presentation Copy Folio "This Book was designed by Sebastian Carter and printed by him and Will Carter at the Rampant Lions Press, Cambridge. The larger text type was set by hand in 18pt Palatino designed by Hermann Zapf, and the smaller by machine in 12pt Monotype Plantin light; the titling is Sistina, of the Palatino family, and the display and initials are Grot R designed by Michael Harvey and used by courtesy of John Ryder & the Stellar Press. The text paper was mould-made by J. Barcham Green of Maidstone. The book was bound by John P. Gray and Son of Cambridge. Of this edition of Areopagitica five hundred have been printed of which one hundred have been bound in full morocco numbered I - C and four hundred in Buckram numbered 1 - 400. This is number 5 of twenty-five copies out of series specially bound for presentation. Presented to Ms Hannah Gordon on the occasion of the 23rd Congress of the International London June 1988.
